Earlier this week I had the good fortune to be asked by renowned local poet Penelope (PS) Cottier to take some some new head-shots for a new collection of poems she’s about to publish. After the head-shots were done I coaxed her out onto the street with her fabulous green silk parasol 🙂
(did you know that she collects fish vases?)

what are fish vases??
Petra, a fish vase is a vase in the shape of a fish. I am holding one in a photo, but it is a little hard to see, as I seem to be cuddling it like a teddy bear.
I enjoyed this experience, Geoffery. And the images, too! Thank you.
Geoffrey. How slack is that?
Penelope, how slack is er … what?
Spelling your name the wrong way in my first comment! My bad.
Hehehe … now that is a little slack 😉
I’ll forgive you just this once…
Petra, there was quite a collection of them too … I suppose that somewhere in this world is somebody who turns real fish into vases (taxidermy style) … I’m too lazy to google it this morning though 😉
Penelope, glad you enjoyed the experience … it was fun 🙂
Not the vessels for placing arrangements of fish? 😉 x
Love that face. Warmth,. And the parasol and the fish vases shrief about humour and fun. Thank you – I will have to find out more about her. And read some of her work.
