From the water she rose
hands like whispering flame
a face in shadow
elsewhere perhaps
ripples spread circles
the enchantment begins
One of a series of pictures from a session in the Adelaide hills last year.
This is also the first time I’ve posted wholly using android on my new tablet. Lots to get used to but I think it will work 🙂
What a stunning image – perfectly matched with the verse.
Absolutely magnificent in every way, Geoff. It reminds me of the Lady of the Lake from the Mists of Avalon!
I remember Mists of Avalon! Thanks Ginnie 🙂
great picture, looking forward to more Android magic 🙂
Thanks, you and me both! Now just need to arrange the time 🙂
Haven’t seen a post from you for a little while … attained nirvana? ;-P
Dramatic and eerie yet seductive image–I want to know more about this woman and the scene. Are you editing your image on your phone or computer? Or using the image as you took it?
Hi Sally … thank you. I captured this with the DSLR and processed it in Lightroom on the computer. The original resembles this version 😉
Very interesting image and made more powerful by being shot in black and white!!! Thank you very much!!!
Thanks Marialla … the black and white lends a certain power to the image for sure 🙂
I love it. You are great.
Awww … Jodo thanks … it’s the totally awesome model that makes this shot!
well there is that.
I’ve told you before I can only shoot what’s in front of me 🙂
